July Favourites!

I've done a lot of nail art (for me, at least!) in July because of the OMD! Challenge and I've got quite used to posting every other day. It'll be weird going back to only posting a couple of times a week now, haha!

On to my favourites for this month:

-I really loved Rara's summery beach nails that she did for her holiday, they were totally fab! Lasted really well too!

-I really liked the colours I used for the very last ABC Challenge mani-they were so bright and fun and cheerful!

-I also loved my brightly coloured flower mani for day 14 of the OMD! Challenge

-And I was surprised how much I liked the leopard print I did for day 22-I'm definitely going to do this more often now!

-But the mani I loved most of all this month (and it was a bit of a tough call) were my Monsters University inspired nails because they were really fun and awesome, and I was really proud of myself for getting them to look like they did.

So there you go, another month of nail art gone by in a blink! Bring on August and the start of the Mish Mash challenge =D

June Favourites

June has been a nail-art-tastic month for me-I've done quite a lot of it. Some stuff I loved and some stuff I wasn't so thrilled with but here's my absolute favourites:

-I only did one TST this month but I really rather liked it-it was inspired by the Barry M Limited Edition polishes:

-Rara did some super awesome cherry nails to celebrate being able to use both of her hands again which I just loved!

-I really loved my Doctor Who Nail Art, I kept it on for days and just kept staring at my fingers. All my nerdy friends loved it too!

-I attempted the ultimate skittle for Nailed It NZ's nail art competition-I didn't win but I still loved doing a mani that incorporated all the techniques I've tried since I started my blog

 -But my ultimate faaaaaave mani this month has to be my Doc Marten nail art-I've been wanting to do them for months and months and finally did, and I think they turned out great!

May Favourites

I really cannot believe that it's JUNE already, I have no idea where this year is disappearing to-it's nearly half way done already, that's completely bonkers!
Here's my May Faves:

-As I mentioned, I'm cutting down the number of Try Something Tuesdays that I do because I want to increase the amount of stuff I can do. Of the two I did this month, this one was my fave:

-I really loved my pretty pretty rainbow nails, I kept them on for a weekend and kept playing with the light on the holos, they were really rather fun:

-I really loved the colour combination of my grey-dients and how well they turned out for a first attempt (just a shame about the Seche shrinkage at the edges!)

-But my star of the month has to be the absolutely stunning 'Mother Earth' from Above the Curve, I fell in love with her when I put her on and still think she's gorgeous now:

April Favourites

April has gone by SO quickly-it's really flown past for me, only feels like a couple of days ago we were celebrating Easter and all of a sudden it's May! Wow!
Here's my April Faves!

-I didn't do many Try Something Tuesdays this month so I don't have many to choose from-my favourite was obviously my splatter mani, as my other attempt was a total disasticure!

-Rara's done a lot of Spring time/Easter themed nails for me this month but my favourite has to be her birthday bunnies, which were really awesome!

-I joined Kimber's ABC challenge and was really overwhelmed with the support my fellow challengers gave to me, right from my first post-nautical nails.

-I'm also really enjoying using my new Barry M nail pens as they let me do so much more than I could with brushes-like my night time nails:

-But overall my favourite mani of the month HAS to be my owls-they got so many positive and lovely comments both from fellow bloggers and in real life! I'm definitely going to do them again soon!

March Favourites

Firstly let me say Happy Easter/Chocolate Egg Day/Non-religious festival of Spring depending on what you're celebrating today.

I've not done one of these before but I love the idea of doing a round up of my favourite manis/techniques that I've done this month so thought I'd go for it! Plus I've done more posts this month than before so I have much more to choose from! For more details, click the links to the original posts.

In no particular order, my March favourites:

-I really like my spring time daisy nails that I'm currently sporting, they're really cheerful and also feature some lovely (new!) colours as bases:

-I was super impressed with Rara's West End Nails from a couple of weeks back-especially how detailed they were! Big love for tiny Freddie!

-Also her beautiful peacock nails:

-My favourite Try Something Tuesday post this month was definitely my blue fishtail mani-it's such an easy technique to master but it looks really impressive. Expect to see more of these in the future!

-But my overall favourite for this month HAS to be my beautiful new love: Magic Croisette. It's not a complicated mani at all but I love her colours and her shimmery shine and didn't stop staring at my nails for the entire time I wore her!
