The week before Jenni went to Oz I went to Turkey so obviously I had to do some bright holiday nails!I did contemplate doing turkeys but decided to stick to a bright and simple gradient mani.
I used the following polishes; Tara's Talons-Super Soaker, Nails Inc-Big Red Apple, Essie-Fear and Desire, Nails Inc-Belsize Park, Nails Inc-Uptown Glamour and Tara's Talons-Fairy. I also used the Vinyl Boutique palm tree decals.Totally love these decals they're so easy to use and look fantastic!
I thought the blue would act as the sky making its way down through the colours to the gold as the sand.
I am pretty pleased with how these turned out and I they sparkled in the sun really prettily!
Not long now til Jenni gets back!

Guest Post-Manis and Makeovers
I used Essence "Absolutely Blue", Bourjois "Green Fizz" and Rimmel "Ultra Violet". My trusty dotting tool did the rest. I finished it off with some holo top coat :)
This was very fun, I love floral dotticures like this, so when I came upon it when choosing one of Nail Art Novice's manis to recreate, I immediately knew this was the one!
Here's a collage of both of our swapped manis! You can check Jenni's out on my blog ;)

Rara's Mermaid Nails
Hello again! Rara here!
I entered a competition by Sally Magpie to become the first recipient of her "travelling polish box". The idea is the same box of polish travels the country and everyone who receives it does a mani with the polishes in the box. Everyone will do something different so it is a showcase of how many different manis can be done from only 5 or 6 different polishes and accessories.
I was lucky enough to win and I got to set the ball rolling! The colours of the polishes in the box instantly reminded me of mermaids! So I decided to do a mermaid inspired mani.
Novice: This is where Rara wrote "OOPS DELETED THE PICS OF THE POLISHES DO YOU HAVE THEM AND CAN YOU PUT AT LEAST THE MAKER ON PLEEAASE THAANNKS!" so it was a good job I kept the photo she sent me ;) Here's what was in the box:
I think Rara used the purple Lilypad Lacquer, the blue Mentality and the golden Picture Polish but I have no idea what they're called, sorry! Back to Rara:
In the box were some sequins so I used them on my ring finger to act as a 'tail/fins'I loved the mani as it was shiny and sparkly!
The box has now gone onto the next person and I can't wait to see what they come up with!

Guest Post-Fixin to Faff
Hey y'all!
I'm so excited to be guest posting for Jenni, whose whimsical style I adore. I'm Ali from Fixin To Faff, a Texas transplant to the UK. Today I have a colorful summer look using two of my favorite colors this year: coral and purple. I think these colors are so opposite one another that they actually play really well in the sandbox.

Guest Post-The Fancy Side
Hello All,
My name is Amy and I blog over at The Fancy Side (www.fancysidenails.com). Jenni and I belong to the same FB group for polish bloggers and she recently asked for Guest Posters so of course I volunteered. It's a fun way to make new friends, so here I am. YAY!
For my guest post I wanted to do something that is very me, and if you visit my blog, you can tell stamping is my thing. I started off with a base of Zoya Binx* which is a lovely berry pink jelly based polish filled with iridescent glitters. This is from their recent Bubbly collection and let me tell you, I'm in love.
Once Binx was dry I stamped over it using China Glaze Passion, my go to for gold stamping. I used the new Pueen Buffet plates, which really are a buffet of images to chose from. These images can be found on Pueen 59.
I hope you enjoyed this look! Thanks for having me on your corner of the internet Jenni! Be sure to come visit me at The Fancy Side sometime, I'd love to have you.
Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee
